What we're building

Calyx is an agent-native workspace — a true collaboration environment for people and their agents. Think Notion + Obsidian + Cursor having a mutant baby: a familiar, Notion-esque interface, but underneath it's a full IDE, working on plain files that live on your own machine.

It exists because agent tooling sucks for serious knowledge work. Most of it is chatbox-centric, built for automation rather than augmenting the person using it — and the context agents need is scattered across a dozen tools that can't talk to each other.

In Calyx, people and agents share one working context: docs, projects, tasks, dashboards, an infinite canvas. Bring your own agents (Claude Code, Codex, whatever you run), your own models, your own keys. Connect your accounts and agents can reach further — into your Gmail to triage the morning's mail and draft replies, into your Google Calendar to plan around your week. Always with your permission: Calyx should be the place your tools meet, not another silo you have to feed.
